The Rewilding Psychologist offers trauma-informed psychology services for adults, providing a supportive and respectful space for healing, self-understanding, and emotional growth. Therapy is collaboratively tailored, with the option of traditional room-based sessions or nature-based/walk and talk therapy, guided by your individual needs, pace, and sense of safety.
Grounded in humanistic and evolutionary approaches, The Rewilding Psychologist offers sessions that gently integrate the mind–body connection and prioritise nervous system regulation, choice, and empowerment. A particular focus is supporting women through significant life transitions—such as motherhood, perimenopause and menopause, burnout, identity shifts, and periods of change or uncertainty.
Nature-based therapy in the local area offers an additional pathway for healing, supporting reconnection with the natural environment, strengthening self-awareness, and realigning with personal values and current life goals, alongside or in addition to, traditional room-based therapy.

Nature-Based Therapy

Benefits of Outdoor Therapy:
-
Nature offers a deeply restorative space for emotional healing and nervous system regulation.
-
Spending time outdoors can support a sense of calm, clarity, and balance, helping to ease stress and anxiety while gently reconnecting us with the present moment.
-
The sensory experience of the natural world invites mindfulness and self-awareness, supporting emotional regulation, resilience, and overall wellbeing.
-
Walk and talk therapy weaves therapeutic support with the natural rhythm of movement.
-
Walking side by side can feel less formal and more easeful, creating a collaborative and grounded therapeutic space.
-
Movement through changing landscapes can help shift perspective, open new ways of understanding life’s challenges, and remind us of our innate capacity for change, growth, and renewal.
